Admissions to Little Kingshill Combined School are managed by Buckinghamshire Council, according to the Admission Criteria set down by Buckinghamshire Council.
For more information regarding the 'Starting School' process, please go to https://www.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/schools-index/school-admissions
We admit 30 pupils to our Reception class and throughout Key Stage 1, increasing to 32 for Key Stage 2 (Year 3 and upwards). Children are able to start school in the academic year in which they reach their fifth birthday. Attending the Little Kingshill Nursery does not guarantee entry to the main school.
Before applying to join the school, we encourage you to visit us and see us in action!
When joining the school at the beginning of an academic year, we hold a welcome meeting, in order to provide details about what will happen when your child starts school. Your child will also be invited to a separate transition morning where they will also have the chance to meet their class teacher and classmates. We aim to make the transition to school life as smooth as possible.
For in-year transfers, we will work with you to ensure that the move to our school is as seamless as possible. Please see Buckinghamshire’s policy regarding an in-year move:
